Matthew DeVine is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Birmingham, Alabama. His musical influences and proclivities run the gamut. But, as a founding member of the band Downright, his music is perhaps best known for getting–and keeping–an audience on its feet.  His performance at Moonlight on the Mountain will be a solo show, giving friends, fans and music-lovers of all kinds an opportunity to see this versatile artist in a smaller, more intimate setting. Downright announces two more shows in 2011, plans to complete their fourth full-length album in 2012.

To faithful fans who assumed 2011 was over for Downright, the band has added two more shows to finish out the year: Friday, December 2nd in Birmingham, AL and Saturday, December 3rd in New Orleans, LA.

Downright will return to their old stomping grounds at Zydeco in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday December 2nd, 2011.  Tickets are $8.00 in advance, $10.00 the day of the show.
